Historic 3-day Sudh Mahadev Mela concludes at Udhampur
UDHAMPUR, JUNE 12: The 3- day annual Sudhmahadev Mela concluded today recording a footfall of over 45,000 devotees, visitors including men, women and children across the social spectrum.
The visitors paid obeisance at Sudh Mahadev temple after taking bath in the Pap Nashni Bowli believed to have divine power of purging the sins of the followers.
During the first two days, scintillating cultural performances by the folk artists and students of educational institutions of the area captivated the audience, depicting the rich heritage of the region with special reference to deep reverence of people for Lord Shiva. The audience was treated to captivating Dogri music and folk dances.
Mela Officer (Tehsildar Chenani) Pankaj Singh Bhau coordinated the activities and managed the arrangements for the devotees during the 3 day religious and cultural event.
