Hands-on Training held for Digitization of Jamabandis in Poonch

POONCH, JUNE 23: In line with the directions of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, the Revenue Department today conducted a comprehensive hands-on training session for field-level officials to facilitate the digitization of Jamabandis through the newly launched Web Halris portal.

The training, aimed at modernizing land administration and ensuring transparency in revenue records, was conducted in three dedicated batches for Tehsildars, Patwaris and MTS staff. The sessions were held under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Muhammad Sayeed.

Addressing the participants, ACR Muhammad Sayeed stressed the importance of timely and accurate digitization of land records. He urged all concerned officials to expedite the process, highlighting its role in improving public service delivery and accessibility.

A master trainer led the sessions, imparting in-depth knowledge of the Web Halris platform, including practical demonstrations and technical guidance. The training ensured that all officials with computer proficiency are now equipped to manage digital land records effectively.
