Govt ensured state-of-art infra, foolproof security for Amarnath devotees: Kavinder

‘Nutritious food, health, safety, sanitation top priorities this time’

JAMMU June 30 : Cele Congratulating the people on the start of 62-day-long Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2023, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Friday said that government has raised colossal infrastructure including two 100-bedded hospitals at Pahalgam and Baltal each to ensure safety and security of the pilgrims starting from Lakhanpur to the Cave Shrine of Baba Barfani in south Kashmir.

The senior BJP leader said that the arrangements ensured this year are foolproof with the Centre led by PM Narendra Modi taking keen interest in providing adequate security and every possible entity for the convenience of visiting pilgrims. He said nutritious food, healthcare facilities, sanitation, etc are the top priorities of the government this season giving satisfaction and comfort to visitors embarking the journey to south Kashmir Himalayas for satiating spiritual aspirations and seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Kavinder said this while interacting with several delegations here at his residence on Friday.

The deputation members apprised the BJP stalwart about the issues which they were confronting on a day to day basis.

After giving a patient hearing to the deputationists, Kavinder assured to put up their cause before the concerned quarters for an early redressal. He assured that their genuine issues will be taken up sooner than later.

Meanwhile, another deputation of wine dealers, who were rendered jobless after implementation of new Excise Policy, met the former Deputy CM and raised the issue of their livelihood asking Kavinder to take up the matter with LG’s administration.  

After going through the plight of aforesaid deputation, the BJP stalwart leader assured to take-up the matter with the concerned officials to mitigate their problems as soon as possible.
