GDC Vijaypur organises cleanliness drive

SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 30: In continuation to the series of activities being organized under the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, the NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of Govt. Degree College Vijaypur, in collaboration with IQAC under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K organized a cleanliness drive inside the college premises.

The drive commenced with the introductory address by Dr. Shittal Sharma, Convenor IQAC of the College where she briefed the students about the importance of cleanliness. She said that the drive was a wonderful experience for students to motivate them to contribute their bit to society and they were major role players to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness in the campus.

NSS Volunteers from different semesters of the College participated in the cleanliness drive with full enthusiasm.

The event was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Vandana Gupta, Principal of the College. The program was conducted successfully with the active support and coordination of Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, NSS PO and other members of NSS Unit and Prof. Poonam Kundan, Convenor Eco-Club of the College.
