GDC Kunjwani organises One Day Programme on Amrit Kalash Yatra under the aegis of Meri Maati  Mera Desh Campaign

JAMMU, October 14: NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College Kunjwani organized one day programme on Amrit Kalash Yatra under the aegis of Meri Maati  Mera Desh Campaign.

The aim of the programme was to pay tribute to the veers and veeranganas who had made the supreme sacrifice for the country.

In this regard Amrit Kalash Yatra was carried out to celebrate India’s soil and valour at the college campus.

The event took place within the premises of the college under the patronage of principal of the college, Dr. Ravender Kumar Tickoo. He encouraged the students to instill a sense of national pride and inspire future generations to protect India’s cherished heritage.

The programme included various activities such as plantation drives, memorials, singing the National Anthem and taking the Panch Pran Pledge.

This event will pay homage to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation with a special focus on freedom fighters and defense personnel.

The programme was coordinated by NSS Programme Officer and formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof.Bushra Nizami.
