Earlier, Dr. Jitendra Singh, along with other senior leaders, inaugurated an exhibition showcasing major achievements of the Modi government over the past 11 years.
While addressing the press conference, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that various programmes are being organized across the nation to celebrate the Modi government’s journey of transformation. He described the 11 years as a shift “from despair to hope, from pessimism to optimism.”
He recalled the environment of widespread corruption and lack of global recognition that prevailed before 2014, stating that the Modi-led government’s mission of “Sankalp Se Siddhi” has now borne fruit. “There has been a great deal of hard work and sacrifice behind this success,” he said.
Dr. Singh emphasized that the government’s first pledge was “Meri Sarkar, Gareeb Ki Sarkar,” focusing on four key segments — youth, farmers, the poor, and women. India has progressed from the 10th to the 4th position in terms of economic strength. He highlighted India’s rise in the Global Innovation Index from 80th position in 2014 to 39th in 2025. He also pointed out India’s 6th rank in global patent filing, crediting the Modi government for creating a supportive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship.
He cited a manifold increase in Khadi turnover, driven by design innovations and its promotion in both national and international markets.
Dr. Singh described the reforms under Modi as real socio-economic reforms powered by optimal use of technology. He noted that benefits were extended to the needy without any consideration of vote-bank politics. The government undertook futuristic policy-making rooted in Indian ethos.
Several outdated rules were abolished, including the requirement for gazetted officer attestations. Restrictions on women’s pensions were revisited, and posthumous pension rights were expanded. After the abrogation of Article 370, socio-economic benefits were extended to women, refugees, and other deprived communities. The introduction of an app for pensioners’ life certificates made the process more accessible for senior citizens.
Ease of doing business was significantly enhanced. The National Education Policy was introduced to simplify learning and ensure wider access. Unified journal registrations and use of drones in agriculture, alongside innovations like soil health cards, were cited as transformative steps.
“We ensured benefits reached all citizens, irrespective of who voted for us,” he said.
Key welfare schemes like the Mudra Yojana, PM SVANidhi Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, and improved road connectivity were discussed. Three Vande Bharat trains now operate in Jammu & Kashmir. The realization of a train reaching Kashmir is a historic achievement.
The Jan Dhan Yojana empowered the poor economically and was appreciated globally. Swamitva Yojana revolutionized land records. The Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system became a model of efficiency, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) has emerged as a major tool for addressing citizens’ concerns.
India has taken the lead in preventive healthcare and vaccine development. Dr. Singh spoke of emerging advancements in biotechnology and its role in the next industrial revolution, particularly through next-gen genetic technologies. India is now a global leader in weather forecasting and space technology, which significantly strengthens its economy.
“Today, under Prime Minister Modi, India is not a follower but a global leader in technology,” he said.
He also spoke about India’s vast coastline and abundant natural resources, which are now being tapped innovatively. Unexplored regions like the Himalayas are being studied for development opportunities. Innovation is no longer the privilege of professionals alone; it is now a national mission for youth and entrepreneurs.
Concluding his remarks, Dr. Singh emphasized that the world is now looking toward India, which is moving toward an era of evidence-based policy and future-readiness. He urged citizens to actively collaborate with the government to realize the vision of a futuristic India.
J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta added that the achievements of the Modi government are too numerous to be listed briefly. He highlighted that millions have risen above the poverty line and praised the successful execution of various welfare missions like Operation Sindoor, which transformed lives across the nation.
