Election Commission of India Conducts Training Session for BLOs in Leh.
LEH, June 6, 2025 – The Election Commission of India (ECI) in coordination with Office of Chief Electoral Officer UT Ladakh conducted a comprehensive training session for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Leh today on June 6. The session aimed to enhance the efficiency and preparedness of BLOs in their critical roles during field operations.
The team of eight members, led by Shri A.K. Pathak, Secretary, from the Election Commission visited Leh for various field engagements and training programs under the flagship of Election Commission India Adventure Sports Club (ECIASC).
The training featured a detailed presentation highlighting the crucial responsibilities of BLOs during on-site duties. Discussions also covered the proper procedures for filling out various forms related to the voter cards, rectification of errors and reporting of lost cards and other related issues.
The session also provided an open forum for BLOs to voice their grievances and seek clarifications, ensuring all their confusions were effectively addressed. BLOs shared their diverse situational challenges that they encounter on the field. They also discussed effective strategies for addressing various challenges.
