Drug peddler arrested with 7.5Kg of Poppy Straw in Kulgam

KULGAM July 17: In a major operation, the Kulgam Police has apprehended a notorious drug peddler identified as Vijay Kumar, resident of RS Pora, Jammu. The police also recovered 7.5 kilograms of Poppy Straw, a prohibited substance from his possession during the operation.

A case has been registered under FIR No. 148/2023, under Sections 8/15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, at the Qazigund Police Station.
