Drug peddler arrested with 1.5 kgs of charas powder in Bandipora

In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Bandipora Police arrested a drug peddler and seized 1.5 kilograms of charas powder from his possession at Pahrwan Ajas.

Acting on specific information, a police team from Police Station (PS) Sumbal laid a surprise naka (checkpoint) near Pahrwan Ajas.

During routine checks, they stopped a suspicious individual. Upon searching him, police recovered 1.5 kg of charas powder, a narcotic substance.

A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at PP Ajas, PS Sumbal.
