Drug peddler arrested by Kulgam Police, 500g of cannabis contraband seized

In a significant breakthrough, the Kulgam Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler identified as Mohd Ishaq Shah, a resident of Banghal.

The apprehension followed a meticulous operation by law enforcement officials, leading to the recovery of 500 grams of grinded cannabis-like contraband.

The arrest was made under the purview of FIR No 04/2024, filed under sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The case has been registered at the Devsar Police Station, and the investigation has been promptly initiated to delve into the details of the illicit drug trade.
