Dr Vivek Sharma nominated as J&K president of Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch

JAMMU February 7 Dr Vivek Sharma has been nominated as J&K (UT) State President of Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM). This was announced by Sh. Pankaj Goyal, National General Secretary BTSM after consultation with Dr. Indresh Kumar, Senior Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Margdarshak of Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch.

The announcement was made during the National Executive meeting of BTSM which was held at Kailash Mansarovar Ghaziabad, Delhi. The two-days meeting was organised to review the functioning of the NGOs and to discuss the future programs to be carried out by the respective chapters in their regions in respect of “Tibbat Ki Azadi and Kailash Mansarovar ki Mukti”.

Sh Pankaj Goyal while congratulating Dr. Vivek Sharma said that in the upcoming days, BTSM is going to organize awareness programs across the entire country to aware the people to free Tibet from the colonial rule of China and for the security of India’s own boundaries across the Himalayan region.

Dr. Vivek Sharma thanked the high command for their trust in him and for giving him the responsibility for the noble cause.

Dr. Vivek Sharma had led various agitations during student life, wherein Prime Medical agitation is one of them. He had worked as State ABVP secretary, State president (Student Morcha of Jammu State Morcha), State General organizing secretary (Jammu State Morcha), and Special invites of the State Working Committee of BJP. Presently, he is the active member of Vidya Bharti, an NGO working in the field of education with a motto to provide value based education to the underprivileged and far flange areas of the County.

Earlier, Dr. Indresh Kumar said that China is such a country that has nothing to do with humanity. It keeps on giving tension to many countries of the world in one form or the other. Nothing can be expected of humanity from China.

He further mentioned that from 5 May 2023, 25 years of the establishment of Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch are about to be completed, and from this day, the silver jubilee year of the forum will begin. The silver jubilee year will start from Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh and will also end on 5 May 2024 at Dharamshala itself.

Meanwhile, many types of programs will be organized throughout the country to raise awareness of Tibet and strengthen the Tibetan cause. At the end of the two-day national executive meeting, a colorful cultural program was presented by school children.

The two-day national executive meeting had the presence of Patron Dr Kuldeep Chandra Agnihotri, National Working President Sardar Harjit Singh Grewal, National Vice President Master Mohan Lal, Chandra Shekhar Sahu, Swami Divyanand Maharaj, National Minister Neera Shastri, Shivakant Tiwari, Vijay Sharma, Ramkishore Pasari, Nursing Mengji, Shri Pramod Goyal, Anil Monga, Kalon Gyari Dolma, Department of Security, Central Tibetan Administration,  Smt. Rinchen Lhamo, Member, National Commission for Minorities, Govt. of India and 350 delegates from all over the country.

Shri. Pankaj Goyal General secretary BTSM said that BTSM was started in the year 5th May 1999 in Dharamsala and for the last 24 years the organization has turned into one of the major sources of Tibet movement in the country with around 300 chapters all over India. The ultimate mission of the organization is for the return of freedom to the Tibetan people and the return of Tibetan refugees to their beloved country with respect.
