Dr. Narinder Singh holds meeting with officials, reviews ongoing development works in Gadigarh
Gadigarh, Jammu, 01st May 2025: Dr. Narinder Singh, MLA RS Pura-Jammu South and BJP National Secretary, chaired a high-level meeting of senior government officials at Gadigarh.
The meeting saw the threadbare discussions to review the ongoing development projects, and the issues of public importance.
SDM Jammu South Manu Hans, Tehsildar Arti, Block Development Officers (BDOs) Kirandeep and Sandeep, XEns of PDD, PWD, and other departments, CDPO, and senior officials from various government departments participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, Dr. Narinder Singh discussed various pressing issues concerning the Gadigarh area under RS Pura-Jammu South. He emphasized the urgent need for infrastructural improvements, including road connectivity, drainage systems, and street lighting, along with effective delivery of welfare initiatives for the betterment of the local population.
Dr. Narinder Singh conducted a detailed review of ongoing works, stressing the importance of inter-departmental coordination. He directed officials to prioritize the timely completion of basic infrastructure projects such as roads, lanes, drains, and public lighting, which are vital to enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Calling for a comprehensive and practical development roadmap, Dr. Singh urged departments to work in a time-bound manner to address core civic issues. He also advocated for the establishment of a robust mechanism for regular public grievance redressal to ensure responsiveness and accountability in governance.
“The BJP remains firmly committed to the holistic and inclusive development of Jammu,” Dr. Singh stated. “Our aim is not just to complete projects but to ensure that every citizen benefits from the progress. Effective governance and people-centric planning are the need of the hour.”
He further directed departments to actively monitor the status of ongoing infrastructure initiatives and encouraged officials to propose new projects that reflect the needs and aspirations of the local masses. Emphasizing the spirit of collective effort, he called upon all stakeholders to work cohesively to achieve sustainable and long-term development goals.
The meeting concluded with assurances from departmental heads to fast-track project execution and strengthen public service delivery across RS Pura–Jammu South and Gadigarh.
