Doda: Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari campaign held at Village Bhakhna Dhal Khankir- Gundana block

DODA, JUNE 17: As part of the ongoing Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh and under the banner of Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan—India’s largest tribal outreach and empowerment campaign—a special awareness and benefit saturation camp was today organized at Village Bhakhna Dhal Khankir, Block Gundna today.

The programme was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Din Mohammad Affaqi.

In his address, the ADDC encouraged the tribal community to avail maximum benefit from the services provided under the campaign.

The departmental stalls set up at the venue offered vital information and on-the-spot services related to flagship schemes such as PMAY (G), MGNREGA, NRLM, Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY), Post-Matric Scholarships, Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and the Forest Rights Act.

The camp also featured awareness sessions, health check-ups, on-the-spot registration for job cards and health cards and assistance for various beneficiary-oriented schemes. Local residents interacted directly with departmental representatives to resolve their queries and concerns.

The event concluded with a cultural tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda, celebrating tribal traditions through music and folk performances.
