District Hospital Kishtwar gets hi-tech diagnostic equipment  

DC inaugurates Chemiluminescence Immunoassay, CLIA System in General Lab  

KISHTWAR, JANUARY 31: Getting a major boost in healthcare, a hormone Analyzer, Chemiluminescence Immunoassay, CLIA System was today dedicated to the people here at the district Hospital Kishwar.

The high-tech technical Analyzer facilitates specialised tests for including thyroid profile, Hepatic fibrosis, TORCH, EBV, Inflammation Monitoring, Fertility, Hypertension, Autoimmune, immunoglobulin, Tumour Markers, Drug monitoring, Kidney function, Cardiac, metabolism, prenatal screening, Anemia, infection markers, Bone Metabolism and other hormone analysis.

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav inaugurated the automatic hormonal Analyser at the General Laboratory of the Government District Hospital. Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Yudhvir Singh and other technical staff participated in the inaugural function.

The state-of-art equipment has been provided to the Hospital by Patel Engineering Pvt Ltd associated with the Kwar and Keru Hydroelectric Power Project under its Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) initiative.  

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Analyzer has efficiency of providing accurate output of 78 samples at a time.    He said the facility will augment the treatment, post diagnosis with focus on accuracy, high quality and excellent client service to reduce patient-cure time.

 Meanwhile, MS said the patients will take a sigh of relief as they don’t have to wait for test reports for days. The reports will be available to the patients within hours of testing.

Further, he extended gratitude to Patel Engineering Ltd for this positive gesture.
