District Development Council Ramban finalises Capex Budget Plan for 2023-24

RAMBAN, MAY 16:  To discuss and finalize the Annual Plan under Capex Budget 2023-24, Chairperson District Development Council Ramban, Shamshad Shan today chaired a meeting of DDC members, BDC Chairpersons and concerned District officers, here in the conference Hall of DC Office Complex.

 Vice Chairperson DDC Rabia Hamid, DDC members and Chairpersons of Block Development Councils, besides Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajinder Sharma, CPO Dr. Kasturi Lal and other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Action Plan under Capex Budget 2023-24 was discussed, finalized and approved by the Council.

The meeting held threadbare discussion with regard to different developmental issues and various decisions were taken to further accelerate the developmental pace in the district.

The meeting discussed the District CAPEX Budget 2023-24 and after thorough discussion Scheme Wise ceiling CAPEX Budget 2023-24 of District Ramban was approved with a ceiling of Rs 6107.96 Lakhs for financial year 2023-24.

The meeting reviewed sector wise progress of all departments including R&B, PMGSY, Jal Shakti, JPDCL, Health, and Education and received feedback from the concerned officer.

Addressing the council meeting, the Chairperson District Development Council stressed upon the officers to work with added dedication, cooperation and ensure that all developmental works targeted for the current financial year were completed within the stipulated time.

Addressing the meeting, the ADDC thanked the DDC councilors and expressed his satisfaction over the overall performance of the departments in the district.

He also directed all executing agencies and concerned officers to speed up the pace of work to achieve set targets within the stipulated time frame.

He assured complete support of the administration to the Council and said that coordination between PRIs and administration and interdepartmental coordination is critical for smooth execution of development works.

Earlier, the DDC Members, BDC Chairpersons also spoke and projected developmental issues of their respective constituencies. They gave different suggestions for further improvement of various departments.
