District Administration Doda, Education Department organize “Nasha Mukt Bharat Programme”

DODA, MARCH 17: District Administration Doda and Education Department jointly organized “Nasha Mukt Bharat” programme at Government Higher Secondary School Boys Doda.

 The programe was organized to  advocate the message “Say No to Drugs” and Nasha Mukt Bharat was orchestrated through the collaborative efforts of the District Administration and the Education Department. This impactful event, aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse, witnessed a huge crowd of students of different schools and parents.

Chief Education Officer Doda, Parkash Lal Thapa inaugurated the programme in presence of Principal GBHSS Doda and officers of J&K Police.

Chief Education Officer commended the Cultural Heads and Tanveer Ahmed Wani, Principal of GBHSS Doda, for proactive involvement in advancing educational outreach initiatives within the community. Recognizing the pivotal role played by educational institutions in shaping societal values and behaviors, he underscored the importance of collective action in combating the pervasive issue of drug addiction. Through a series of engaging activities and informative sessions, participants were empowered with the knowledge and motivation to reject the allure of drugs and embrace healthier lifestyle choices.

As the program traversed through  resonant chants of “Say No to Drugs” echoed, serving as a poignant reminder of the collective commitment to building a drug-free society.
