Director RDD holds Review Meeting of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, SDP, and GIA
Leh, June 18,2025: Director of Rural Development Department (RDD), UT Ladakh, Syed Sajad Qadri held a meeting to review the Physical and Financial Progress of all sectors including Centrally Sponsored Schemes, on June 17 at the conference Hall of RDD office, Leh.
The main agenda of the meeting was to review the physical and financial progress of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme which includes Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Gramin (PMAYG), Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin(SBMG), Integrate Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) and various other schemes which included SDP, SSP and GIA.
Director RDD UT Ladakh reviewed block wise progress of ongoing projects and addressed Junior Engineers (JEs), seeking explanations for incomplete works and project hold-ups. He instructed all the Block Development Officers and JEs to ensure timely completion of all pending works before July 15.
He also emphasized that the administration is fully committed to support and urged officials to promptly communicate any challenges or bottlenecks that they are facing, assuring them of all possible assistance to ensure smooth execution of the projects.
Additionally, he urged all officials to work with greater dedication and ensure timely completion of all the assigned tasks.
The meeting was attended by Assistance Commissioner Development, AG Zargar; Executive Engineer, REW, Leh; District Panchayat Officer, Leh; Block Development Officers ,Leh ; Project Manager WDC-PMKSY, Leh and other agencies such as NPCCL, WAPCOS, CPWD, NHIDCL.
