DIPR Cultural Unit organises Symposium on Nasha Mukt Bharat in GGHSS Reasi

REASI, MAY 09: Cultural Unit, Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu on Thursday organised a Symposium on the topic “Nasha Mukt Bharat” here in the Government Higher Secondary School Girls to educate the young generation regarding catastrophic consequences of Drug abuse on Individuals and the Society.


The students expressed their views, while sharing valuable information on the topic. A colorful Cultural programme by the students added to the importance to the event.
Students were judged on parameters of Pronunciation, Modulation of Voice, Factual Representation, confidence etc by a panel of jury comprising Vishawjeet Singh, Surinder Sharma & Rita Rani. Aani teacher of the school hosted the event. A total number of 10 students participated in the competition.


First position went to Muskan Bhagat, second position was secured by Ayushi Sharma and third position was bagged by Akansha Sharma,
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the School, Sushma Mawa educated the students about the Campaign against Drug addiction and appreciated the Department of Information & Public Relations for organising such a meaningful event in the school.
Among others Staff members of the school and a large number of students witnessed the programme.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Cultural Officer Nasir Ahmed Khan.
