Digital Week Day 3: ADDC Kupwara chairs Digital Literacy Camp at GDC Sogam

Inspects stalls of different departments at D.C Office

KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 02: The Digital Week campaign continued on 3rd day across district Kupwara featuring informative Stalls, Awareness Camps, Digi Vans, Mega Rallies and live demonstrations of e-governance platforms aimed at enhancing digital literacy among the people.

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, ADDC Kupwara, Altaf Ahmad Khan visited Government Degree College Sogam and took part in the Digital Week activities. 

The ADDC inspected various stalls of the departments including ICDS, Revenue, ITI, CSC, Bank, JJM, Animal Husbandry, Education, Horticulture, Treasury, Food department and got detailed feedback from the officers and representatives about the progress of enrollment of beneficiaries. 

Khan also presided over an awareness camp in the GDC. Addressing the participants especially students, he asked them to get proper awareness of the online applications required for availing different Government schemes adding that the students are the responsible citizens of tomorrow. He also asked the students to become ambassadors and spread digital awareness among the people.

The ADDC appealed the people to take maximum benefit of the ongoing Digital Week. 

Vice Principal GDC Sogam; Tehsildar Sogam, Faculty Members and other concerned spoke and highlighted the importance of Digital Week campaign.

SDM Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather presided over the Digital Week camp at GDC Kandi Tangdar during which he inspected the stalls of the departments and got feedback from the officers. 

President MC Langate, Shahnawaz Abdullah presided over the Digital Week Camp at BHSS Langate during which awareness about digital services was given to the participants. CEO Kupwara, Abdul Hamid Fani, Dy. CEO, besides, officers from line departments attended the camp. 

At Handwara, line departments had installed their stalls to give awareness to the participants for availing e-services of Government. 

Meanwhile, Digital Week was celebrated across district Kupwara including Panchayats during which line departments showcased their online schemes to the people and enrolled the beneficiaries.
