DIET Leh’s FLN Training Program underway

Leh, Feb 22, 2024: The fourth day of the 10-day FLN 3rd batch at DIET Leh, NIPUN Bharat Mission, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) delivered contextualized Vidya Pravesh training today on February 22.

Over the past four days, experts from Lucknow provided insights into contextualized Vidya Pravesh under the guidelines of the NIPUN Bharat mission.

The fourth-day session featured Chief Education Officer Leh, Sonam Wangchuk, as the chief guest.

Principal of DIET Leh, Chetan Dorje extended a warm welcome to Sonam Wangchuk, affirming the productivity of the ongoing ten-day workshops for FLN teachers across various zones of Leh District. The four-day Contextualized Vidya Pravesh program is set to enhance teaching methodologies within their respective schools.

Sonam Wangchuk emphasized the significance of Contextualized Vidya Pravesh as a key component of the National Curriculum Framework (Foundational Stage) and applauded Principal DIET Leh for consistently conducting training sessions for teachers and experts. He underscored the timely necessity of such workshops in the educational landscape.

Approximately 90 FLN teachers actively participated in today’s session.

Tomorrow, on the fifth day of the ten-day FLN training, experiential learning and Jodo Gyan training will be provided.
