DIC Kulgam organises Awareness programme at ITI

KULGAM, August 09: District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam today organized an awareness programme for students at Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Kulgam.

General Manager DIC, Dr.Bashir Ahmad; Principal ITI, Mehraj Ahmad; IPOs and resources persons were present in the awareness session.

General Manager DIC in his speech spoke about industrialization and its importance. He sensitized the participants about the different schemes and incentives of Industries and Commerce.

He also sensitized the participants about prevailing drug menace and urged them to stay away from such activities and be focused to achieve their goals.

During the programme, detailed sessions regarding benefits under PMEGP NCSS, Land allotment were discussed.

The programme was followed by a question answer session and witnessed a threadbare discussion between the participants and speakers of DIC regarding the hiccups which are being faced by the entrepreneurs while applying/availing benefits under various schemes of DIC.
