DHSJ assesses patient care scenario at PHC Purmandal

JAMMU, JUNE 20: Director Health Services Jammu (DHSJ)  Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar paid a surprise visit to PHC Purmandal in evening hours for supportive supervision and monitoring of healthcare services being provided to the public.

The DHS inspected all sections of the hospital along with Chief Medical Officer Samba Dr. Vidhi Bhatial, Block Medical Officer PHC Purmandal and gave valuable inputs for improving the patient care.

The progress of Block Public Health Unit being constructed under PM ABHIM was also reviewed by the DHS.

Nodal officer for implementation of MEDLEaPR in UT of J&K Dr. Arsalan Rashid also accompanied the Director Health Services Jammu. He took a detailed review of the status of implementation of the portal in District Samba and appreciated the work done in this regard. He gave  valuable suggestions regarding the intricacies and challenges being faced for its complete compliance.

Later, the DHS chaired a virtual meeting with all CMOs of Jammu Division along with Nodal Officers of respective districts and directed them to comply with the implementation of MEDLEaPR Portal. Nodal Officer for the Portal Dr. Arsalan Rashid, Professor and HOD Forensic Medicine GMC Srinagar was also physically present in the meeting.
