Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan Awareness Camp held at Panchayat Bhingara-Ukhral

RAMBAN, JUNE 18: On the fourth day of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan, the District Administration Ramban organized an awareness camp at Panchayat Bhingara, Block Ukhral to empower tribal communities by facilitating access to the government schemes and services.

The camp was attended by Tehsildar Nasir Javed, BDO Shahid Saleem and representatives from several departments. Assistant Director FCS&CA, Niamatullah Sheikh, acted as the Key Resource Person, sensitizing the tribal population about welfare schemes.

The local Scheduled Tribe (ST) community participated actively. Government officials briefed attendees on schemes related to livelihood, skill development, education, food security, social welfare and self-employment.

Numerous grievances were resolved on the spot, while others were documented for follow-up. Officials emphasized the need to ensure that no eligible ST household is left out of government benefits.

As part of the campaign, the awareness camps are being conducted across 11 identified ST villages of Ramban district till June 30, 2025, promoting inclusive development and participatory governance.

Locals appreciated the administration’s outreach and expressed hope for continued engagement and support.
