Dharmarth Trust, Sanatan Dharam Sabha to organize Grand Shoba Yatra on Shree Ram Navami

Joint meeting held for smooth conduct of Yatra

JAMMU, March 28: Jammu & Kashmir Dharmarth Trust in collaboration with Santan Dharam Sabha, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal, and other Religious Organizations, is set to organize a Grand Rath/Shoba Yatra on the upcoming Shree Ram Navami, as per past practice.

In this regard, a joint meeting was held at the Central Office of J&K Dharmarth Trust on Shalamar Road, Jammu, to discuss the smooth conduct of the Yatra. The meeting discussed various aspects of the smooth conduct of the Shoba Yatra.

Brig RS Langeh, President of the Trust, and Ashok Kumar Sharma, SSP Retd, Secretary of the Trust, chaired the meeting in which members of the Santan Dharam Sabha, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal, and other Religious Organizations were present.

The Trust President sought the continuous support of the organizations in ensuring the smooth conduct of the Shoba Yatra and requested people to lend their support to the event. He urged the people of Jammu to participate in the Shoba Yatra and let us all come together to celebrate this auspicious occasion with harmony and joy.

The Secretary informed that this year, the traditional route of the Shoba Yatra would be changed due to ongoing construction works at Raghunath Bazar. He informed that the Rath Yatra shall start from the Shree Raghunath Ji Temple Complex and pass through Residency Road, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi, City Chowk, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazar, Gita Bhawan, Ranbireshwar Temple, Shalamar Road, Indra Chowk, Har Market, and finally culminate at Raghunath Ji Temple. He also appealed to the District Administration to provide all possible support to make this Yatra a grand success.
