Dharmarth Trust holds condolence meeting, mourns untimely demise of Dr. Pardeep Trehan
Jammu, May 23: Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust today mourned the untimely demise of Dr. Pardeep Trehan, husband of Rajkumari Dr. Jyotsana Singh and son-in-law of Dr. Karan Singh, former Sadr-e-Riyasat of Jammu & Kashmir. Dr. Trehan passed away in New Delhi after a brief illness.

Dr. P.S. Pathania, President of the J&K Dharmarth Trust, who is currently in Srinagar, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dr. Trehan. In his message, Dr. Pathania remembered him as a gracious individual and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, praying for strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
In this regard, a condolence meeting was held at the Trust’s Central Office in Jammu under the chairmanship of Shri Ashok Kumar Sharma, IPS (Retd.), Secretary of the Dharmarth Trust. Trust employees and officials gathered to express their grief and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family.
As a mark of respect, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the departed soul. The atmosphere was one of deep sorrow, with heartfelt prayers offered for his eternal peace.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ashok Kumar Sharma recalled the noble virtues of Dr. Trehan, describing him as a distinguished personality known for his humility, intellect, and dignified presence. He expressed profound grief on behalf of the entire Dharmarth Trust and conveyed heartfelt condolences to Rajkumari Dr. Jyotsana Singh, Dr. Karan Singh, Hon’ble Chairman Trustee, and the other Trustees during this hour of immense personal loss.
The Dharmarth Trust stands united with the family and prays for the departed soul to attain Moksha.
