Dharmarth Trust celebrates Maa Baglamukhi Jayanti with religious fervour

Jammu, May 5: The J&K Dharmarth Trust today celebrated Baglamukhi Jayanti with traditional fervour and gaiety at Natraj Temple, located within the premises of the ancient Shri Raghunath ji Temple. The occasion was marked by a series of religious rituals, including a Hawan and Aarti in the temple of Mata Baglamukhi Ji, drawing a large number of devotees.

Dr. P.S. Pathania, President of the Dharmarth Trust, along with Ashok Kumar Sharma (IPS Retd), Secretary of the Trust, Varinder Singh Jamwal, Additional Secretary, and the Trust’s staff, participated in the sacred Hawan and Poojan. The event witnessed a significant gathering of local devotees who thronged the Raghunath Ji Temple to pay their respects to Mata Baglamukhi Ji.

A temple priest present at the ceremony explained that “Mata Baglamukhi is one of the ten Mahavidyas, or great wisdom Goddesses, in Hinduism. She is revered for removing the misconceptions and delusions of her devotees, often symbolized by her cudgel, and is also known as Pitambara.”

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pathania expressed his gratitude and emphasized the importance of devotion to Mata Baglamukhi, highlighting her role in overcoming obstacles and spiritual enlightenment. He urged the community to continue to uphold the values of faith and unity.

Ashok Kumar Sharma, in his address, highlighted the significance of Maa Baglamukhi’s blessings in times of distress, urging everyone to seek her grace for the well-being and prosperity of their families.

The event concluded with the distribution of Prasad among the devotees, as they left with a sense of peace and spiritual upliftment.
