DEO Rajouri reviews preparedness for Lok Sabha Elections

RAJOURI, MARCH 16: District Election Officer, Om Prakash Bhagat, today chaired a meeting of the Assistant Returning Officers to review preparedness for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming elections.

The meeting focused on acquainting the stakeholder functionaries about the spectrum of their duties spanning across the pre-election, election, and post-election phases. Each phase demands meticulous attention and unwavering dedication to ensure the transparency of the electoral process, the DEO emphasised.

He directed the officers to discharge their responsibilities with the highest degree of sincerity and dedication. Emphasizing the paramount importance of their role, he underscored the critical need for adherence to ethical conduct and procedural integrity at every juncture of the electoral timeline.

In line with the overarching objective of facilitating a smooth and fair electoral exercise, the District Election Officer Om Prakash Bhagat reiterated the significance of upholding democratic principles and fostering an environment conducive to free and fair elections. He accentuated the imperative for each officer to uphold the sanctity of their mandate, thereby ensuring the democratic aspirations of the electorate are safeguarded with utmost diligence.
