DDC Reasi reviews village-wise progress of tribal saturation camps under DA-JGUA

REASI, JUNE 21: District Development Commissioner   Nidhi Malik chaired a comprehensive virtual review meeting with all Block Development Officers and District officers to assess the block wise progress of outreach camps under the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DA-JGUA), being conducted from June 15 to June 30, 2025.

The review focused on evaluating the impact of the first seven days of camps in delivering services and ensuring the saturation of beneficiaries, particularly among the tribal population.

As part of this initiative, awareness and saturation camps are being conducted in 44 selected tribal villages across nine blocks of Reasi district.

During the 15-day campaign, key services such as Aadhaar enrollment, Ayushman Bharat card, PM Vishwakarma registration and issuance of caste and domicile certificates are being provided to tribal communities.

During the meeting, the DDC directed Block Development Officers (BDOs) to increase the number of camps and ensure comprehensive outreach by involving village-level functionaries in door-to-door surveys to identify and cover all eligible tribal beneficiaries.

DDC Nidhi Malik also instructed officers from the departments of Agriculture and Allied Sectors, Health, Banking and Common Service Centers (CSCs) to ensure the active presence of their representatives at all camps. On-the-spot delivery of services under flagship schemes like PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana and others was emphasized.

Furthermore, the DDC advised BDOs to organize follow-up camps in areas where some beneficiaries may have been missed during the initial phase, ensuring no eligible tribal household is left out of government welfare services.

The initiative underscores the district administration’s commitment to improving service delivery and enhancing the participation of tribal communities in government schemes.
