DDC Kupwara reviews progress of various schemes of RDD

KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 13: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress achieved under various schemes of the Rural Development Department (RDD).

Addressing the meeting, the DDC stressed upon all the officers to work with added dedication and zeal and ensure completion of all ongoing works within the stipulated time frame. He directed the officers to personally monitor the development works in their jurisdictions and conduct regular inspections on the sites. 

Earlier, the meeting was informed that out of 1943 allotted works under Area Development Fund (ADF) in all 24 blocks of the district, 1213 works have been completed so far. Under Untied and NFB, 4 projects out of 5 have stands completed.

The DDC also reviewed progress under SSY, ABDP and APDP, and directed the concerned officers to speed up and ensure completion of the works.

JD Planning, ACD Kupwara, ACP, DIO, BDOs and other concerned attended the meeting.

The DDC also chaired a separate meeting of the ICDS sector during which she reviewed the status of procurement of Nutrition for Anganwadi Centres.
