DDC Chairman, DC Udhampur lead Public Grievance Redressal Camp in Hartyan

 UDHAMPUR, October 04: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Udhampur, Saloni Rai, spearheaded a Public Grievance Redressal Camp in Hartyan as part of a dedicated public outreach program, aiming to promptly resolve developmental issues of the community.

DDC Chairman, Lal Chand; BDC Chairman, Balwan Singh; DDC member, Ashu Sharma; Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh; Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal and  other district officials, PRI members  and the general public from adjoining panchayats attended the camp.

The PRI members and locals projected  numerous concerns and demands seeking maintenance of the Ice Factory to Sambal road, installation of solar lights, construction of drains and playgrounds, provision of an ambulance at PHC Hartyan, road connectivity to upper Hartyan, provision of electric poles and transformers for the area, establishment of emergency health centre,  upgradation of  High School to Higher Secondary School, establishment of  veterinary center, opening of  ration depot, construction of  road from Khudu to upper Hartyan under PWD, road upgrades from Chopra Shop to Kambal Danga, addressing staff shortages in government schools and health centers,  blacktopping of  Jib-Hartyan road,  construction of health and veterinary center buildings in the region etc.

The event witnessed immediate resolution of several grievances with the proactive involvement of concerned department officials. The remaining demands will be accorded priority, with a commitment to allocate budgetary provisions for their timely resolution, all in the best interest of the public, as assured by the DDC Chairman and DC.

The DDC Chairperson commended the departments for their effective public service delivery in Udhampur district.

 They reiterated their dedication to addressing all legitimate demands and concerns on a priority basis, issuing on-the-spot directives to the relevant officers for time-bound resolution of public issues.
