DCC Rural celebrates Congress landslide victory in Karnataka polls

Cong victory in Karnataka indicates end of BJP citadel: Mula Ram, Hari Singh, Uday Chib

JAMMU, May 13: With Congress poised to be largest party in Karnataka Assembly; District Congress Committee (DCC) Jammu Rural along with Pradesh Youth Congress organized a grand celebration of Congress’ imminent victory at Jammu North Assembly Segment here today.  

The function was held in the august presence of Mula Ram senior Congress leader and former minister, Uday Bhanu Chib President Youth Congress Jammu and Kashmir, Hari Singh Chib President DCC Jammu Rural, Rajni Bala Corporator Ward No 60 and Secretary PCC, Satish Sharma Senior Congress leader, Kuldeep Verma former Vice Chairman OBC Board,  Block Presidents Ajaib Singh Motton, Som Nath Sharma, Parshotam Singh, Prem Singh Chib and Balkar Singh, DCC Jammu Rural office bearers Rajinder Kumar, Rattan Chand, Ram Pal, Madan Singh Chib, Tarun Vaid, Om Parkash, Jung Bahadur Singh, Dev Raj, Shahbaj Ahmad Khan, Virender Kumar Mehta, Chander Mohan Sharma, Captain Khushi Ram, Joginder Dubey, Amit Kumar, Rishiv Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Kamal Singh and others.

Mula Ram, former minister in his address on the occasion said the victory of Congress in Karnataka elections is just the beginning of the end of Bharatiya Janata Party’s misrule that threw democracy and democratic principles to tatters. He said that people not only in Karnataka but across the nation have fully understood that BJP made promises only to befool the people and delivered nothing on ground. He said that the Karnataka Assembly poll result is a clear indication of inevitable surging back of Congress in the upcoming Parliamentary elections. He said that it is time for BJP leaders to realize that Karnataka election result is people’s mandate against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

Hari Singh Chib, President DCC Jammu Rural while addressing the gathering said that the credit for the Congress victory in Karnataka goes to Party High Command Sonia Gandhi,  Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Congress Chief Mapanna Mallikarjun Kharge, K.C Venugopal under whose supervision the party’s well devised strategy for the said polls turned out to be a great success. He also appreciated the relentless efforts of D. K. Shivakumar President Karnataka Congress Committee who left no stone unturned during the election campaigns for ensuring this historic victory.
While thanking the people of Karnataka for giving massive mandate to Congress party, Hari Singh Chib said that this victory has blown the bugle for demolition of BJP citadel and decomposition of its lotus very soon.  

Uday Chib, Youth Congress President, in his speech, congratulated the people of Karnataka for the historic win of Congress and asserted that only Congress party can fulfil the aspirations of people of this nation. He said that the oldest party of the nation has proved today that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has paved the way for Congress dominating the scene beginning from Karnataka. He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir too are waiting for the upcoming Assembly polls in this Union Territory and shall teach BJP a lesson like the people of Karnataka. He said that the erstwhile State of J&K now bifurcated into two Union Territories has been the worst victim of BJP’s misrule as the people have been even deprived of the basic right to franchise    not to talk of other rights.
