DC Rajouri reviews status of JJM schemes

RAJOURI, MAY 10: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Om Prakash Bhagat today chaired a meeting to review the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission schemes, aiming to ensure clean drinking water access to rural communities.


The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the crucial aspects of high-quality work, timely project completion and effective supervision to achieve the goals of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
To accelerate the implementation of the scheme, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to adopt a result-driven approach, adhering to strict timelines. Through focused efforts and dedicated work, the mission is rapidly transforming into a reality, promising a healthier and happy life for the residents of the region.
For the schemes where the work has not been started yet, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to promptly address issues hindering the progress of work on such schemes.


The DC emphasised the need for a holistic approach towards water management, emphasizing that it is not just about providing access to clean drinking water but also about preserving and sustainably utilizing these vital resources.
