DC Rajouri reviews status of grievances redressal received on JK IGRMS, Revenue portals

RAJOURI, February 23: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting to review the status of grievances redressal received on the Jammu and Kashmir Integrated Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (JK IGRMS) and Revenue portals.

 The meeting was attended by district and sector officers of  concerned departments.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner sought department-wise status of pending grievances and directed the officials to clear them on a priority basis. He emphasised that the timely and effective redressal of grievances is critical to ensuring transparency and accountability in governance and improving the overall service delivery to the citizens.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress made by each department in resolving grievances received on the JK IGRMS and Revenue portals. He appreciated the efforts made by some departments in clearing a significant number of pending grievances and urged others to follow suit.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to ensure that all grievances are resolved within the stipulated time frame and in a transparent manner. He also emphasised the need to maintain complete data of all grievances received, action taken, and the time taken to resolve them.

He reiterated the importance of the grievance redressal system in promoting transparency and accountability in governance and urged the officials to work towards making it more efficient and effective.
