DC Leh convenes meeting with various departments for “Dharti Aaba Abhiyan”

Leh, May 16, 2025: The Deputy Commissioner, Leh Santosh Sukhadeve convened a meeting on May 16th, 2025 to discuss “Dharti Aaba Abhiyan” aimed at saturating essential entitlements for tribal communities at VC room DC Office Leh.

During the meeting, DC Leh directed heads of various departments of Leh District to immediately strategize and set concrete targets for achieving complete saturation of various schemes and its benefits within the stipulated timeframe of the campaign, which runs from June 15th to June 30th, 2025. The DC also stressed the need for seamless coordination and collaborative efforts among these departments to ensure smooth and efficient implementation of “Dharti Aaba Abhiyan” at the grassroots level.

DC Leh specifically emphasized the need for focused efforts of these campaigns in Vibrant Village Blocks and Aspirational Villages within the region. He underscored the importance of ensuring that all eligible individuals and families in these key areas receive the full spectrum of benefits under various government schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) and the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA JGUA).

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Leh, Assistant Commissioner Development Leh, General Manager DIC Leh, Chief Medical Officer Leh, Chief Agriculture Officer Leh, Chief Animal Husbandary Officer Leh, AD FCS&CA and officers and officials from various departments.
