DC Leh convenes Introductory meeting with District Officers of Leh District

Leh, June 23, 2025: The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Romil Singh Donk (IAS), convened an introductory meeting with all District Officers of Leh District, at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Leh, today on June 23.

The meeting began with all District Officers introducing themselves and presenting comprehensive overviews of the work and achievements of their respective departments. DC Leh took detailed information from various departments, focusing on critical services such as Pashmina, Seabuckthorn, Mining, issuance of Ration Cards, immunization programs, both conventional and solar power initiatives and various other services.

In a move to streamline departmental reporting, DC Leh instructed pivotal departments, including Education, Health, Handicraft/Handloom, Transport (specifically regarding the issue of outside vehicles), PHE, PWD and other departments to prepare and present individual summaries of their operations, along with PowerPoint presentations.

He further asserted to fix a meeting on District Capex Budget in the coming week, with the aim of achieving expenditure targets by the end of August.

The DC Leh also encouraged suggestions and feedback from all the District Officers.

The meeting saw full participation from all HoDs/District Officers from every department across Leh District, underscoring a collective commitment to developmental goals.
