KISHTWAR, JUNE 10: Deputy Commissioner   Rajesh Kumar Shavan today rolled out the activity plan for effective implementation of 15 day Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan in the district.

Addressing a press conference, the DC informed that the Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, a nationwide benefit saturation and awareness campaign, is scheduled to be held from June 15 to June 30, 2025.

“The campaign aims to ensure 100% coverage of individual entitlements for tribal communities at the grassroots level. The campaign will be held in 19 tribal villages across the district, including the remotest habitations” he added.

The DC informed that the Abhiyan will be conducted at Sub-Division, Block, and Tehsil levels, ensuring wide outreach and localized implementation. He stated that inter-departmental coordination will be ensured to bridge critical service delivery gaps and achieve saturation of centrally sponsored welfare schemes.

The flagship schemes to be covered under the Abhiyan include Aadhaar enrollment, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Scheme, MUDRA Yojana, Stand-Up India, Ayushman Bharat Card distribution, Caste Certificate issuance, PM-KISAN, Ladli Beti Scheme, HADP (Holistic Agriculture Development Programme), and others, he informed further.

In addition to scheme saturation, the campaign will also emphasize skill development initiatives and digital empowerment programs for the tribal population.

The DC appealed to all members of the tribal communities to actively participate and avail the benefits being extended under this comprehensive initiative. He also encouraged the community to support the administration in facilitating outreach and delivery mechanisms.
