DC Kishtwar reviews security scenario at Hydroelectric Power Project sites

KISHTWAR, MAY 29: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan reviewed the security arrangements at upcoming hydroelectric power projects, including Kiru, Kwar and Pakkal Dul, at a meeting held here today.
The Additional Superintendent of Police briefed the DC on current security arrangements, assuring adequate deployment of personnel at each site of the project.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that security and safety of these assets are top priority of the government. He directed stakeholders to install proper fencing around the project sites, enhance security surveillance and maintain constant vigil to prevent untoward incidents. He further instructed for establishment of a monitoring cell to oversee already installed CCTV cameras, which shall report suspicious activities to concerned police authorities immediately.

The DC assured full support from the district administration to ensure the safety and security of these projects.
The meeting was attended by ADC Pawan Kotwal; ACR Idrees Lone; Addl SP and representatives from Power projects.
