DC Kishtwar flags off Swachata Caravan Vehicle

KISHTWAR, May 3:To promote cleanliness and hygiene among the public, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav today flagged off a Swachata Carvaan vehicle here from DC Office Complex.

BDO Nagseni Anjil Singh and other concerned were present at the flagging off ceremony.

The vehicle will travel through the Block headquarters of Inderwal, Mughal Maidan,Kishtwar, Trigam,Drabshalla  to spread awareness about cleanliness and hygiene among the public.

At these Block Headquarters, the officials of RDD distributed = IEC material among masses under the supervision of concerned BDOs.

The Swachta Carvaan in an initiative aims at creating awareness among the people about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean and hygienic under Swachh Bharat Mission.

The Swachata Carvaan initiative “Ek Kadam Safai Ki Aur” also aims to ensure that the open defecation free behaviours are sustained and that solid and liquid waste management facilities are accessible.
