DC Kishtwar convenes introductory meeting

Finalises arrangements for In’l Yoga Day    

KISHTWAR, JUNE 16: Pankaj Kumar Sharma today formally took over as the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar. Soon after taking over the office, the Deputy Commissioner chaired an introductory meeting with the district heads of the line departments.

The meeting aimed to familiarize with the functioning of each department, review ongoing developmental works and outline a roadmap for efficient governance and services delivery in the district.

The DC emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination, timely implementation of government flagship schemes and following a citizen-centric approach in administration.

He also stressed the need for accountability, transparency, and inclusive development, ensuring that no staff shortage hampers the progress of public welfare initiatives.

The DC also reviewed and finalized arrangements for the   International Yoga Day function to be held at the historic Chowgan Grounds.

The meeting was attended by ADC Pawan Kotwal; CEO KDA, Kaiser Bhawani; ACR, Idrees Lone; CPO, Shahnawaz Bali; SDM Chatroo, Nayeem Ur Rahman; SDM Padder, Dr. Amit Kumar and other officers.
