DC Budgam visits under- construction School at Rakhi Arth, Bemina

Says school building to be made functional very shortly

BUDGAM, JANUARY 12: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo today visited the under- construction School Building at Rakhi Arth Bemina.

The DC took stock of progress of ongoing work including painting, windows and door fittings and other related works.

He directed concerned to ensure completion of all pending works including sanitary works for washroom facility very shortly without fail.

DC said that the school shall normally function from the coming session to ensure smooth imparting of education to local students of Rakh Arath.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the district administration is committed to complete and dedicate infrastructure projects which were pending for a long time in the district.

He said in the last few months various such projects of the Health and Education departments were completed and dedicated to the general public.

DC maintained that the School at Rakhi Arth Bemina is also one such project which has been stuck and pending for some time now due to various bottlenecks, and shall be completed soon and dedicated to the public very shortly.

During the visit, the DC also met various public deputations who raised their demands with the DC.

DC gave them patient hearing and assured all their genuine demands shall be addressed on priority.

Among others, CPO Fayaz Ahmad, CEO Humma Mir, SE R&B, Tehsildar and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
