Dachnipora, Anantnag celebrates VBSY Initiatives

ANANTNAG, January 19: Today marks a significant stride towards comprehensive development as Block Dachnipora, Anantnag, embraced the transformative journey of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The recent leg of this nationwide initiative has left an indelible mark on the landscapes of Dachnipora, witnessing enthusiastic public participation and reflecting a shared commitment to regional development.

The VBSY Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van made a dynamic impact during its visit to key locations, including Sheikhpora, Kathsoo, Wullerhama, Hardkuthal, Saller A, Saller B, Lehendajan, and Sofipora Gram Panchayats. The palpable surge of public engagement underscores a collective determination among locals, emphasizing that sustainable progress is a joint responsibility across all societal levels.

As the VBSY progresses, it transcends symbolism, evolving into a catalyst for tangible change. The on-ground impact is evident in communities, where the holistic VBSY approach resonates, laying the foundation for a transformed Block Dachnipora.

The Yatra, played a pivotal role in disseminating awareness regarding various government welfare schemes. On-ground services, including PM Ujjwala Yojana enrolments, MY Bharat volunteer registrations, and distribution of Ayushman cards, have facilitated direct engagement and access to essential social welfare programs.

Citizens actively involved themselves in numerous government schemes during the Yatra, with over 2499 individuals gaining access to clean cooking fuel under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Distribution of Ayushman cards has extended comprehensive health cover of Rs. 5 Lakhs per family per year to thousands, and more than 94,184 citizens have benefitted from health screenings conducted at Health Camps during the Yatra.

Moreover, the Yatra has facilitated over 222 beneficiaries under the PM SVANidhi scheme and enrolled more than 215 new beneficiaries under PM KISAN, promoting financial independence and agricultural support. The ‘MY Bharat’ initiative witnessed over 16,097 lakh youth registrations, reflecting a significant surge in engagement within the framework of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

Beyond being a mere march, the Yatra symbolizes a resounding call to action echoing throughout the district. Today’s efforts signal a promising future, emphasizing the empowerment of every citizen and marking a collective resolve to propel India towards its vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
