Cultural Unit Kashmir, DIPR organises Symposium & Cultural Program at GGHS Batamaloo

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 02: As part of its initiative to empower youth, the Cultural Unit Kashmir of Department of Information and Public Relations J&K in collaboration with Government Girls High School (GGHS) Batamaloo today organised a symposium and Cultural Program at GGHS Batamaloo, Srinagar on ‘Introduction to Youth empowerment and Skill development’.

The aim of the program was to make students aware of life skills which are vital to effectively tackle the challenges of the 21st century and to bring attitudinal and behavioral change.

Noted artists performed a short play on Youth Empowerment.

Somiya Ashiq, Ridha Lateef and Farhat Akhtar got the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the symposium while Aiman Jan and Sehla Yaqoob hosted the event.

The School administration appreciated the organisers for this initiative as these types of programs empower students with soft skills such as interpersonal relations, decision making, time management, team skills, communication and leadership.

Programme was attended by staff of GGHS Batamaloo, Officers of Information department and students.

In the concluding session Certificates of participation and mementos were distributed among the participants of symposium and artists.
