CUJ, Organises 5-day Training Program in Hindi for Newly Appointed Employees

Jammu, 06 Feb 2024: The Central University of Jammu, under the Hindi Teaching Scheme initiated by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs,  has commenced a 5-day Hindi Word Processing/Hindi Typing Program exclusively tailored for its employees.

The program aims to enhance the proficiency of the participants in Hindi word processing and typing, aligning with the government’s vision of promoting the use of Hindi in official communications. It reflects the university’s commitment to supporting linguistic diversity and fostering a conducive environment for the effective utilization of Hindi. This training program is conducted by Central Hindi Training Institute / Hindi Teaching Scheme to train personnel to work in Hindi on computers.In this sequence, this program has been organized for the newly appointed staff of Central University of jammu.

The sessions, conducted on-campus, will provide comprehensive training in Hindi word processing and typing, enabling the employees to proficiently handle Hindi content in their official duties. The program is designed to empower participants with practical skills and techniques to efficiently navigate Hindi typing software and streamline their workflow.

Vice Chancellor Central University of Jammu, Prof. Sanjeev Jain is committed to following the official language policy. He believes that every employee should know how to work in Hindi and those employees who are not able to work in Hindi should be trained. Almost all the non-teaching staff of the university have been provided training to work in Hindi. Prof. jain said that it is necessary for government employees to have knowledge of the official language policy, rules, acts and orders

The main trainer in this program is Mr. Santosh Kumar, Assistant Director (T/A), Rajbhasha Department, Ministry of Home Affairs, who will train the employees for the next five days.
