Councillor Sanjay Baru, Tehsildar Satish hands over 4 lakh compensation amount letter to Birbal Mochi

JAMMU, March 13: Sanjay Kumar Baru, BJP senior leader & Councillor of JMC Ward 41 along with Jammu West Tehsildar Satish Kumar and Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra handed over compensation letter having confirmed amount ‘Four lakhs three thousands eight hundred rupees’ to Birbal Mochi, a migrant labourer.

Late Kari Devi, wife of Birbal Mochi had lost her precious life in a flash flood during the rainy season, when the heavy flow of water suddenly entered into the adjoining land they were living upon in Kutcha house.

Thanking vehemently the local Councillor for the compensation amount, Birbal Mochi said that Sanjay Baru had immediately reached the spot and made endless efforts to help him in the hour of distress. He praised Sanjay Baru for the efforts due to which he will be able to meet the needs of his children.

Birbal Mochi also thanked the district Administration for the compensation amount.

Sanjay Kumar Baru, speaking on the occasion, said that as a dedicated BJP worker and follower of hard working Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he is always ready to help the needy. He said that earlier, the compensation amount was 1 lakh rupees maximum which was too less as a compensation, but now the Modi government has increased the compensation amount to about 4 lakh rupees. He said that no physical sum of rupees can compensate for the loss of a caring wife and mother but still this compensation amount will go a long way to meet the needs of the needy family.

JMC Ward Supervisor William Masih, Ajay Kumar, local social leaders Brijesh Gupta, Sanjay Sharma, Jatin Sethi, Ashok Wazir, Jatinder Khajuria, Rakesh Sharma, Bhubesh Tahppa, Naresh gupta, S. Jangjit Singh, Bachan Lal, Raji Bhagat, Ashish Mangotra and others were also present on the occasion.
