Congress pays floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi in Jammu North Assembly Segment

Jammu, May 21: Floral tributes were paid to the former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi Ji on his 34th death anniversary in a function organised in the Jammu North Assembly segment. The event was held under the leadership of Shri Hari Singh Chib, Vice President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) and Incharge District President Jammu Rural.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of Congress workers and local residents who gathered to remember the immense contributions of Rajiv Gandhi to the nation. Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of the former Prime Minister, and the atmosphere was filled with emotion as speakers recalled his legacy and vision for a modern and empowered India.
Speaking on the occasion, Hari Singh Chib said that Rajiv Gandhi was not just a statesman but a true visionary who laid the foundation of a technologically advanced India. “He dreamt of taking India into the 21st century and worked tirelessly to empower the youth and the rural population through revolutionary reforms. From strengthening Panchayati Raj institutions to ushering in the IT revolution, Rajiv Gandhi’s initiatives continue to shape the present and future of our country,” Chib said.
Hari Singh Chib added that the Congress party remains committed to upholding the ideals of Rajiv Gandhi and will continue to strive for a secular, inclusive and progressive India.
