Congress  honours Veteran leader Ex Minister sdr Gurmukh Singh for long services in public life

Jammu, April 20, 2025:- Veteran Congress leader ,former minister & former Deputy Chairman  J&K Legislative Council, Sdr Gurmukh Singh was felicitated & honoured in a party function in Jammu, for his long ,unietruppted & selfless services to the party & people  for around  sixty years .

 The AICC General Secretary I/C J&K Affairs Dr Sayed Naseer Hussain alongwith JKPCC President Shri  Tariq Hameed Karra & AICC General Secretary G A Mir felicitated him  in a party function in Jammu, last evening  as part of the  programme of JKPCC _” Back to the roots” taken up  by  the party in J&K,  to remember  & respect  the Veterans of party  under the  aegis  ” Bazurgon ka Samman” karyakram.

Sdr Gurmukh Singh who is over  90 years, is still active in the party  & public life and Chairman of JKPCC  Senior Citizen  Congress of the party. An advocate by profession ,  Singh become active in politics in fifties and worked under the  progressive guidance of former Prime minister and then Chief Minister GM Sadiq. He became member of upper house in early sixties , then minister of state and served as Dy Chairman Leg council .
