Congress holds massive protest against BJP MLA R.S. Pathania’s statement on Indian Air Force

Mula Ram, Hari Singh ask BJP to take disciplinary action against MLA & stop politicizing Op Sindoor

Jammu, May 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today staged a massive protest in the Jammu North Assembly segment against BJP MLA R.S. Pathania, strongly condemning his controversial and derogatory remarks targeting the Indian Air Force.

The protest was led by senior Congress leader and former Minister Mula Ram and was organized by JKPCC Vice President and Incharge District President Jammu Rural, Hari Singh Chib. A large number of Congress workers and supporters participated in the demonstration, raising slogans against the BJP and demanding strict action against Pathania for what they termed an “anti-national and treasonous” statement.

Addressing the gathering, Mula Ram expressed shock over the BJP legislator’s baseless and irresponsible allegations against the Indian Air Force. He emphasized that such remarks not only undermine the morale of the armed forces but also insult the sacrifices of those who risk their lives to defend the nation.

The former Minister Mula Ram lauded the Indian armed forces, particularly the Indian Air Force, for showcasing exceptional bravery and operational excellence during Operation Sindoor, striking enemy targets with unmatched precision and forcing Pakistan to retreat. “The armed forces displayed extraordinary courage and strategic strength in the face of enemy aggression. Instead of praising them, BJP Leaders chose to malign their honour — this is not just shameful, it is unforgivable,” he said, adding that this was happened first time that the BJP leader has insulted our forces as in the past BJP leaders have insulted the Armed forces.

Hari Singh also slammed the BJP MLA, stating that it is disgraceful for a representative of a party that constantly claims to champion patriotism to indulge in such anti-national rhetoric. “By making such false and demeaning statements, BJP MLA has hurt the sentiments of patriotic citizens and questioned the capability of one of the finest air forces in the world,” he said.

Calling the statement a grave insult to national security forces, the protesting Congress leaders demanded immediate disciplinary action against Pathania and urged that a case of treason be registered. “Attacking the Indian Air Force is nothing short of desh-droh (treason). The BJP must stop politicizing Operation Sindoor and come clean on its legislator’s outrageous conduct,” he added.

Those who joined the protest included Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Rajinder Kumar, Sagar Choudhary, Bittu Rampal, Surinder Kumar, Om Parkash. H.S Bagghi, Rishu Kumar, Paroshtam Singh, Kamal Singh, Jangh Bhadhur Singh, Vinay Baru, Tarun Vaid, Parveen Akhter Balkar Singh, Jaggater Singh, Ramesh Hans, Ragnesh Hans, Tony, Aju Singh, Madan Singh Chib and Vidya Sagar Sharma.
