Cleanliness Drive Conducted at Jammu Airport

A cleanliness drive was successfully conducted at Jammu Airport with
active participation from AAI, CISF, Indigo Airlines, Air India, Spice Jet, Air
India Express and other stakeholders working at the Jammu Airport.

The initiative was led by Airport Director Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Garg, who
appreciated the enthusiastic involvement of all stakeholders.

On the occasion, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Garg highlighted the vital importance
of cleanliness in ensuring a safe, healthy, and passenger-friendly
environment.

He stressed that an unhygienic atmosphere around the
airport not only creates an unpleasant impression but also attracts birds,
which can pose serious safety hazards to aircraft operations. Maintaining
cleanliness is, therefore, not just about aesthetics or hygiene, it is also a
crucial aspect of aviation safety.

The drive served as a strong reminder of the collective responsibility to
uphold high standards of cleanliness and to promote a safe and efficient
airport environment.\
