Central University of Jammu Organizes Tiranga Rally to Celebrate the Spirit of Patriotism
Jammu, 19 May 2025: In a vibrant celebration of patriotism and national pride, the Office of the Dean Students’ Welfare, in collaboration with the Department of National Security Studies, Central University of Jammu, organized a vibrant Tiranga Rally in the campus. The event was held under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, who led the rally with great enthusiasm. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and administrative staff, who marched proudly with the Indian tricolour in hand from the university premises to its main gate and echoed the collective zeal and commitment of the university community towards the nation.
The Rally marked by chants of nationalistic slogans and a display of collective pride, aimed to reinforce the values of unity, diversity, and constitutional ethos. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain led the procession and addressed the participants, stressing the importance of fostering patriotism and social responsibility among the youth. He applauded the university community for their active involvement and highlighted the role of educational institutions in shaping conscientious citizens. Prof. Jain said that “Such initiatives inspire us to uphold the dignity of our nation and strengthen the bonds of harmony,”. The event concluded with a pledge to promote India’s rich cultural heritage and democratic ideals.
The rally was organized as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to instill national pride and encourage civic engagement among students and staff.
