B’pora admin gears up for intensive DAJGUA implementation in tribal villages
DC appeals tribal communities to actively participate in upcoming awareness camps for maximum benefit
BANDIPORA, JUNE 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, today held a press conference to brief media and the general public about the implementation of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) in the district.
DC informed that the initiative aims to ensure saturation of government schemes across 31 tribal villages in the district. He detailed how the administration is working to bridge developmental gaps through coordinated efforts of all departments.
On the occasion, DC highlighted the upcoming 15-day awareness campaign (June 15–30) aimed to educate tribal communities about various welfare schemes so they can avail themselves of maximum benefits from government schemes. He also shared details of various events scheduled from June 15 to June 30 under the campaign.
The campaign will be formally launched on June 15 at Higher Secondary School Aragam, where all concerned officers will participate and ensure empowerment of tribal communities through this ambitious program.
Senior officers including Chief Planning Officer Bandipora, Mohammed Maqbool Lone and District Information Officer Bandipora Adil Manzoor Wani were present during the press conference.
